In the final round of the 2025 Procore, Austin Eckroat's drive on the 465-yard, par-4 9th hole traveled 311 yards into the left fairway, leaving 153 yards to the hole. His 148-yard approach from the fairway landed on the right side of the green, finishing 42 feet 1 inch from the hole, and he sank a long 42-foot 1-inch birdie putt.

In the final round of THE PLAYERS Championship 2024, Austin Eckroat hit his 21-foot birdie putt at the par-5 11th hole to the edge of the cup. Eckroat walks over to the cup, and – after 38 seconds – the ball falls in the cup. Chief Referee Mark Dusbabek then explains that because Eckroat waited for a longer period of time than allowed by the Rules of Golf, Eckroat was penalized one stroke and scores a par on the hole instead of birdie.
