This year’s event was the fifth playing of the Farmers Insurance Invitational and is part of Farmers Insurance’s commitment to growing the game of golf.

Prior to the 2021 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba, APGA Tour players Ryan Alford, Jarred Garcia, Michael Herrera and Rovonta Young competed in the tournament’s Monday Qualifier in efforts to qualify for the event. After their round, players talked about their round and how they hope to grow from this experience.

In the third round of the 2026 Valero, Tommy Fleetwood's drive on the 594-yard, par-5 eighth hole traveled 304 yards, landing in the right fairway and leaving 290 yards to the hole. His 285-yard shot from the fairway landed in the right bunker, finishing 25 feet 6 inches from the hole. Fleetwood's 34-feet-8-inch shot from the greenside bunker landed on the right green and finished 9 feet from the hole. He made a 9-foot putt for birdie.
