Description: In 1978, Lee Elder won his fourth and final PGA TOUR title at the American Express Westchester Classic by one shot over Mark Hayes at Westchester Country Club in Harrison, New York.

Lee Elder passed away at the age of 87 on November 28, 2021. Elder was a trailblazer becoming the first African American to play in the Masters Tournament while playing in 448 PGA TOUR events and winning four times.
