Parking and Traffic Flow
Carpool Policy – Free Parking - NEW
New this year, fans with four or more guests in a vehicle can park for free Thursday through Sunday with the appropriate carpool parking voucher. To download the voucher allowing free parking in the General Lot off of CR 210, fans can go online to THE PLAYERS website to or click the link here. A new pass must be downloaded and printed for each day, but there is no limit to the number of days guests can park for free.

Traffic Flow – Preferred Route
Tournament officials are also encouraging fans to use a new preferred route to the event through Nocatee, which approaches the parking area from the south and avoids traffic on JTB/A1A. Click the link below in order to see the traffic map and directions.
Taste of JAX - NEW
In 2013, THE PLAYERS will introduce a new on-site fan venue offering Jacksonville favorite food and beverage options. Taste of JAX will be located in between 11 green and 12 tee and will feature 3 restaurants, a centrally located bar, open seating, and a video board. City of Jacksonville will also host Club 1791 - an indoor cool zone adjacent to Taste of JAX.
Featured Jacksonville restaurants include:
- Metro Diner – Classic American fare
- Pele’s Wood Fire – Modern Italian-American cuisine
- Indochine – Thai & Southeast Asian cuisine
The Women’s Pavilion - NEW
Located to the right of 16 tee, The Women’s Pavilion, presented by Astellas, offers an engaging experience especially for female spectators interested in learning more about their overall well-being. Open to all tournament attendees, The Women’s Pavilion is making its national debut at THE PLAYERS and will continue at 10 other PGA TOUR events this season. The Women’s Pavilion will offer a unique, fun experience both on and off the course with championship-style games and other interactive activities.
World Golf Hall of Fame Display – NEW
In celebration of the 40th playing, THE PLAYERS has partnered with the Hall of Fame to offer fans the chance to see some of the storied history of the tournament. Located at the entrance of the Merchandise Tent in Stadium Village, the Hall of Fame Display will feature, among other items, Phil Mickelson’s childhood clubs, Pete Dye’s muddy boots, and the original crystal trophy of THE PLAYERS.
McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation Kids Zone – IMPROVED
Located along Nicklaus Gate entrance, the Kids Zone will be improved with additional activities for children of all ages. 2013 featured charity - McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation

Located near the the Nicklaus Gate at the main entrance, fans have the opportunity to get their swing analyzed and will receive tips from a pro on how to improve.
Fan Enhancements and Policies Permanent Restrooms - NEW
Two locations will have large scale permanent public restrooms available to the public - The Patio and Wine and Dine on 9.
Accommodations for Disabled Guests - IMPROVED
Increased number of cart shuttle locations for disabled guests.
Taxi Locations - NEW
Designated Taxi Areas for spectators on-site will be located at Shuttle Row and near Couples Gate off of ATP TOUR Blvd.
Mobile App - NEW
Enhanced app will include locator map for fans to locate players, holes, concessions, fan venues, etc.
Food Map - NEW
Hungry? This Food Map will feature each of the food offerings around the course, allowing fans to find whatever they are craving.
Military Tickets Process – IMPROVED
THE PLAYERS Championship offers complimentary admission for active-duty, reserve, military retirees and their dependents. Voucher and Military ID will be required for admission at the gate. Vouchers can be downloaded by clicking the link here.
THE PLAYERS also offers discounted tickets to non-retired military veterans throughout tournament week. A voucher and any government issued ID that matches the name on the voucher will be required for admission at the gate. Discounted tickets are $15 per day Monday-Wednesday, and $25 per day Thursday-Sunday. To verify your veteran status and print off a voucher, please click the link here.
40th Merchandise – NEW
Celebrate 40 years of THE PLAYERS with limited edition merchandise inspired by the original 1974 logo. Be sure to check out the merchandise tents and TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse golf shop during the tournament to purchase this limited edition gear.
Healthy Food Options PGA TOUR Cafe
Fans watching their waistlines – or with special dietary requirements – will have several delicious options at THE PLAYERS in 2013. Many of the restaurants at Taste of JAX and Wine & Dine on 9 will offer low-fat, vegetarian and gluten-free items, and there will be a concessions tent, PGA TOUR Café, near the Food Court dedicated solely to serving those types of healthy alternatives.
New Events Saturday, May 4 – Golf Digest Hot List Demo Day
Time 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Public Event - Free)
Hosted on the range at TPC Sawgrass, the same practice area where the pros warm-up, golf fans will be able to test some of the hottest and newest golf products currently on the market.
Tuesday, May 7 – Pens, Pics and Players
All Day (Public Event – Tournament ticket required)
Fans are encouraged to come out on Tuesday – the best day to get autographs and photos of the players. Signage around the course will direct fans to recommended spots to snap a photo and score an autograph.
Tuesday, May 7 - PGA TOUR Wives Association Golf Classic
1 p.m. shotgun start (Public Event – Pre-registration required)
In celebration of 25 years, the PGA TOUR Wives Association returns to Ponte Vedra Beach to host the TOUR Wives Golf Classic . The wives take to the course (Dye’s Valley Course) while their husbands do the heavy lifting and bunker raking.
Wednesday, May 8 – Military Appreciation Ceremony, “A Salute to the US Navy”
5:30 p.m. (Public Event – Tournament ticket required)
Military appreciation ceremony hosted on the back lawn of the Clubhouse followed by a free concert by country music star Dierks Bentley. Concert is free for all ticketed patrons.
