Bill Haas, Rory McIlroy
Phil Mickelson, Webb Simpson

Webb
Simpson
Quail Hollow tends to reveal who’s striking the ball with efficiency. This includes Haas and Simpson. But the elite with experience at the track (e.g. McIlroy and Mickelson) are exempt from the theory as they tend to tap into previous success to rise up again.

Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson
Webb Simpson, Nick Watney

Phil
Mickelson
Doesn't it seem like Quail Hollow should be one of the courses that Mickelson's already won on? After all, he's never missed a cut in nine starts, and seven of those finishes have been T12 or better. He's overdue to win this event.

Angel Cabrera, Rory McIlroy
Phil Mickelson, Webb Simpson
Webb
Simpson
I thought about Phil Mickelson, who has done everything but win the Wells Fargo Championship with six top-10 finishes in nine appearances. But I'm picking Webb Simpson, who has been at his home less than a mile from Quail Hollow, practicing for the last week.

Sergio Garcia, Rory McIlroy
Phil Mickelson, Nick Watney

Sergio
Garcia
My rule with Sergio Garcia is similar to my Steve Stricker rule: If he's in the field, start him. Garcia has three top-10s and a W/D in his last four outings and I'll take that form over a so-so track record here. Hedging that with a McIlroy-Mickelson combo that may be short on form, but has no lack of good vibes at Quail Hollow.
Ryan
Smithson
Bill Haas, Chris Kirk
D.A. Points, Webb Simpson

Webb
Simpson
Simpson, since he lives at Quail Hollow and is coming off a big week at Harbour Town, is going to be on every fantasy team this week, and for good reason. I love Chris Kirk this week since he's been a cut-making machine this year. He's going to win again soon.
Bill
Cooney
Rickie Fowler, Lucas Glover
Phil Mickelson, Webb Simpson

Webb
Simpson
Simpson still hasn't won since the U.S. Open last year, but has been in contention plenty of times. He's had seven T25s in 11 events this season and lost a playoff to Graeme McDowell at Harbour Town. Look for Glover to stay hot, too.

Lucas Glover, Bill Haas
Webb Simpson, Kyle Stanley

I'm going with all Carolina connections this week for Wells Fargo, with the winner's nod to Webb. Came oh-so-close at Harbour Town and should go one better this week in a home game at Quail Hollow if the putter stays hot.

Rickie Fowler, Bill Haas
Rory McIlroy, Webb Simpson

Bill
Haas
Before last year's MC, Haas had a run of 10 below-par rounds in 12 tee times at Quail Hollow. The Charlotte native has been arguably the TOUR's most consistent player in 2013 with eight top 25s in 11 starts including a run of four consecutive top 25s.
Amanda

Bill Haas, Webb Simpson
Jimmy Walker, Bubba Watson

Bubba
Watson
Watson, coming off his 6th top 25 of the season, is starting to show signs of putting his total game together. He carded the low round of the day with a -7/65 in Round 2 at the Zurich Classic, and finished strong with a 66. He has momentum heading into Quail Hollow, a place where he finished as the runner up in 2009.

Bill Haas, Rory McIlroy
D.A. Points, Webb Simpson

Webb
Simpson
It looked like Simpson turned the corner at Harbour Town, where he not only finished second but seemed to gain confidence in his swing and start playing like the guy who won the U.S. Open last summer. Quail Hollow is also a home game for him, and he's played well there the last two years.
Bryan
Mullen
Lucas Glover, Jordan Spieth
Webb Simpson, Lee Westwood

Lucas
Glover
Glover won here in 2011 and is coming off a T4 at the Zurich Classic. It’s been an up-and-down year for Glover. He has missed the cut in four of his previous eight events, but also managed two fourth-place finishes. Glover will be in his comfort zone this week, and it will end in victory.
John
Swantek
Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia
Bill Haas, Webb Simpson

Webb
Simpson
Two of his best outings this year were on classic, shot maker's courses,  (T6 Riviera, 2nd Harbour Town) so he'll be very comfortable in his hometown at Quail Hollow, where he finished 4th last year. I'm going with Charlotte's Webb
