Searching for his third straight win in three starts, Rory McIlroy fired a 4-under 67 to grab a one-shot lead over Jason Day at the halfway point of the PGA Championship.
McIlroy didn't make any changes to his equipment following the two-shot win at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. One equipment change that did fly under the radar last week was McIlroy's decision to swap his Nike VRS Covert 3-wood for a VRS Covert 2.0 model.
While McIlroy never pulled the club from his bag at Firestone, he preferred Covert 2.0's stronger ball flight and how it helped take some of the left out of his shots.
Here's a look at the rest of the Nike clubs and ball in his bag.
