The Wyndham Rewards Top 10 is a season-long competition that offers a $10 million bonus for the 10 golfers who end the regular season at the Wyndham Championship inside the top 10 in FedExCup points. The player atop the standings will earn $2 million, with varying payoffs for the others through $500,000 for the 10th place finisher.
This week: The RSM Classic
Current Top 10 in field
1. Brendon Todd
2. Lanto Griffin
5. Sebastian Munoz
No. 1 watch: With his second consecutive win in as many starts, Mayakoba Golf Classic champ Brendon Todd took over the top spot from Houston Open winner Lanto Griffin. Todd had started the week ranked 17th.
Top 10 moves: With Brendon Todd moving atop the top 10, Tiger Woods was pushed from 10th to 11th in the standings. Woods had moved into the top 10 after winning THE ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP.
• It’s the final week of the fall portion of the 2019-20 PGA TOUR schedule, and the last chance for most players to earn FedExCup points before January’s Sony Open in Hawaii (since the Sentry Tournament of Champions is limited to tournament winners over the past 12 months).
• Besides the three players in the field that are in the top 10 of the Wyndham Rewards standings, four other players have a chance to move into the top spot with a win this week at Sea Island – Harris English (13), Adam Hadwin (14), Mark Hubbard (17) and Adam Long (19).
• Fourteen TOUR pros in the RSM field are still looking for their first points of the season, including tournament host Davis Love III, who has missed the cut in his two previous starts this fall.
