The 2018 Web.com Tour season commences at this week's The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay, contested at the stunning, Greg Norman-designed Sandals Emerald Bay GC, which features several oceanfront holes on the back nine.
Last year's Great Exuma Classic, the inaugural edition, featured some of the toughest conditions in recent memory on any Tour. Consistent high winds forced players to adjust their game plans and play for par; the opening round featured a scoring average of 80.405, and only one player (Kyle Thompson) completed 72 holes under par.
The event features a Saturday-Tuesday format, with the final round slated to conclude on Tuesday afternoon. All four rounds at Sandals Emerald Bay GC will be televised on Golf Channel.
Winds are slated for the 20-mph range throughout the week, and although conditions shouldn't be as fierce as they were in 2017, expect par to remain a strong number around the narrow 7,001-yard, par-72 track.
Who can be expected to make a mark in the season opener, and assert early position inside The 25 on the money list?
Here are 10 players to watch at Sandals Emerald Bay GC.
