Stephan Jaeger entered the Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae ranked 102nd on the Web.com Tour money list, desperately in need of a big week in hopes of earning a spot in the Web.com Tour Finals and a potential PGA TOUR card for the 2016-17 season.
You could say Jaeger had a big week.
He opened with a 12-under 68 that rewrote the record books, then backed it up with scores of 65-64-63 to cruise to an seven-shot victory at TPC Stonebrae.
Jaeger's 30-under total matches the lowest score in relation to par in Web.com Tour history.
