Blues Traveler to perform Friday at Tour Championship

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Tournament officials announced that Blues Traveler will be playing at the Tour Championship when the tournament comes to Dye’s Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass from Sept. 26-29, 2013. The concert will be presented by Legacy Trust Family Wealth Offices and take place on the back lawn of TPC Sawgrass immediately following play on Friday, Sept. 27. The Tour Championship is part of the newly created four-event Tour Finals, and the culminating event of the 2013 Tour season. All 2013-14 PGA TOUR cards will be finalized at the Tour Championship, making the Tour the path to the PGA TOUR.

Blues Traveler is a rock band from Princeton, N.J. that has been on the music scene for more than two decades. Their music crosses many genres including blues, rock and soul, and the group has released eleven studio albums over the years. The Grammy Award-winning band has sold more than 13 million combined units and played over 6,000 live shows around the world.

The Tour Championship heads to Dye’s Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass from Sept. 26-29 and will feature the top-75 money winners at the end of the Tour regular season as well as the PGA TOUR players who finish 126-200 on the FedExCup points list.
