After his second career win, which came on Sunday in the BMW Charity Pro-Am, it appears that Hicks is moving in the right direction. He said that now that he's won twice on the Nationwide Tour in his career, he's no longer a "one-hit wonder."
Beware of the young player who has figured things out. Lovemark tied for second on Sunday and has four top 5 finishes in eight starts. He's all the way up to No. 8 on the money list. That first victory is coming, and it might just be this week.
With one win already this season on the Nationwide Tour, Gomez is getting closer to another one. He finished sixth on Sunday and is fifth on the money list. He leads the tour in putts per round so beware of the player who is carrying a hot putter.
The new money leader on the tour has been consistent with four top-10 finishes, including one victory. If not for a bogey on his final hole on Sunday he would have had second place all to himself. Chappell won the Fresh Express Classic last month.
Another young gun in the power rankings. Kirk, 25, has made 8 of 9 cuts in '10 with four top 10s, good enough to place fourth on the money list. Like Chappell, he also tied for second on Sunday and has some serious momentum going into this week's tour stop.
