The Dallas Cowboys have Jerry’s World, the nickname of the team’s enormous, glitzy stadium. Now the city of Dallas has something to honor Jordan Spieth.
AT&T built a mosaic of Spieth with more than 24,000 golf balls. It is on display at Main Street Garden in downtown.
Spieth, a Dallas native, won the Masters and U.S. Open and captured the FedExCup this year. AT&T is one of his primary sponsors.
“He's had a magical season, it’s really a work of art,” Ryan Luckey of AT&T Corporate Sponsorships told FOX 4 News. “We want to match Jordan's work of art with a work of art of our own. We're throwing together about 25,000 golf balls into a mosaic in honor of Jordan.”
Fans will be able to view the display from a platform. The golf balls will be donated to the Dallas chapter of The First Tee and the Northern Texas PGA after the mosaic is deconstructed. You can also see how it was built in the video below:
