WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. -- If George McNeill goes on to win The Greenbrier Classic on Sunday, he'll undoubtedly give credit to that ace he made at the eighth hole of the Old White TPC.
And not only did that 4-iron from 219 yards boost McNeill within one stroke of the overnight lead, the hole-in-one also means a fan will have his or her mortgage paid for a year thanks to the Quicken Loans Hole-in-One Sweepstakes.
McNeill's ace, which capped a stretch of four straight birdies, is the second in the two weeks since the promotion began. Peter Hanson made one at Congressional's second hole during the third round of the Quicken Loans National.
Quicken Loans will pay a fan's mortgage for a year for every ace through the remainder of the 2014 calendar year. You can enter the sweepstakes by clicking here.
The hole-in-one is the 12th of the PGA TOUR season and the second ace of McNeill's career. The first came at the 2011 OHL Classic at Mayakoba.
