Quick recap: Hyundai, Rd. 2

Zach Johnson interview

Following a second-round 66, Zach Johnson talks about his play in the 2014 Hyundai Tournament of Champions with Steve Sands from Golf Channel.

Zach Johnson just keeps on rolling.

Johnson, arguably the hottest golfer on the planet, carded a second-round, 7-under 66 to take a three-shot lead after 36 holes of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, Hawaii.

Johnson made seven birdies and no bogeys in Round 2 to finish at 13 under. He owns seven top-10 finishes in his past 10 official PGA TOUR events, dating back to July's John Deere Classic. He also won the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge in December.

"The more I get my feet here, the more I walk these grounds, the more comfortable I become," Johnson said after hitting 16 of 18 greens in regulation and taking 30 putts at Kapalua.

Defending champion Dustin Johnson was tied for second at 10 under, 3 shots back after a 7-under 66. Johnson has birdied seven of the eight par 5s he's played this week. Jordan Spieth (70) and Matt Kuchar (68) are also at 10 under.

"All in all, I'm in good position going into the (final two rounds)," Spieth said.
