McGirt eagles par-4 en route to 64

By Sean Martin, PGATOUR.COM

LAS VEGAS -- William McGirt holed out from 159 yards for eagle on the par-4 seventh hole en route to a 7-under 64 in the third round at TPC Summerlin. He is at 12-under 201 (71-66-64). It was McGirt's low round since he shot 63 in the first round of the 2012 RBC Canadian Open.

This was not his low score at TPC Summerlin, though. He shot 63 in the first round of the 2011 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open en route to a T-16 finish. McGirt's even-par 71 in the first round here this year is his worst score in nine career rounds at TPC Summerlin.

McGirt, who finished 100th in the 2013 FedExCup, missed the cut in last week's Frys.com Open.
