Match recaps: Simpson-Snedeker (U.S.) def. Oosthuizen-Schwartzel (Int'l), 1-up

Comeback complete

Brandt Snedeker rolls in a par on the 18th hole to finish off a comeback against the Internationals.

DUBLIN, Ohio -- Lous Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel lost 1-up to Webb Simpson and Bill Haas in their foursomes match.

Leading by as many as 3-up at one point, Oosthuizen and Schwartzel had a complete meltdown coming down the stretch, starting with back-to-back bogeys on Nos. 13 and 14. Things went from bad to worse on the next hole when Schwartzel hit a shot out of bounds. The South Africans went on to double bogey the hole and were suddenly all square. The meltdown was complete when they combined to bogey the 17th hole to fall one behind. The match ended when both teams made par on the 18th.

Webb Simpson. It wasn't a great performance by the Americans, but Simpson had all three of their birdies.
