Leishman-Cabrera (Int'l) def. Simpson-Snedeker (U.S.), 2 & 1

Point taken: Leishman's spot-on approach

In his weather-delayed Foursomes match with teammate Angel Cabrera on Day 3 of The Presidents Cup 2013, Marc Leishman hits his 190-yard approach on the par-4 17th hole to within 6 inches of the cup to win their match.

DUBLIN, Ohio -- After losing their first hole when play resumed Saturday, Marc Leishman and Angel Cabrera bounced back to win two of the next three to close out Webb Simpson and Brandt Snedeker, 2 and 1.

After trailing early, Leishman squared the match by pouring in a 25-footer for birdie on the par-5 fifth hole despite a poor bunker shot by partner Cabrera. The two lost their lead on the 14th hole when play resumed Saturday morning, but Leishman drained a 10-footer for birdie on the next hole to put he and Cabrera ahead again. Two holes later, Leishman nearly holed his approach shot from 191 yards to set up a gimme that clinched the match.

Marc Leishman. His approach shot on 17 nearly went in, clinching the victory for the International duo.
