Preview: Kuchar-Woods (U.S.) vs. Oosthuizen-Schwartzel (Int'l)

DUBLIN, Ohio -- A preview of the Friday Foursomes match between the American duo of Tiger Woods-Matt Kuchar vs. the International duo of Louis Oosthuizen-Charl Schwartzel. Tee time for this match is 1:54 p.m. ET.

Tiger Woods
21-14-1 (10-3-1)

Louis Oosthuizen
1-0-0 (0-0-0)

Matt Kuchar
2-3-1 (0-1-1)

Charl Schwartzel
4-1-1 (0-1-1)

United States: U.S. Captain Fred Couples may have found a gold mine here. Kuchar and Woods told him months ago they wanted to play together and Thursday's dominating 5-and-4 win over Angel Cabrera and Marc Leishman showed they can be a potent combination. Kuchar should be the steadying influence in Foursomes and he won't get rattled by the occasional errant shot. -- Helen Ross, PGATOUR.COM

International: This is the International Team's super group and I'd be surprised if they didn't play together all the way through to the singles. Everything changed when the delay hit Thursday and the two South Africans ham-and-egged it perfectly in their upset win over Mickelson and Bradley. Woods and Kuchar might be the best U.S. team but these two play so well off each other they might run the table. -- Brian Wacker, PGATOUR.COM

Helen Ross: U.S. This will be the day's closest match.

Brian Wacker: International. It'll come down to the wire.
