Preview: Kuchar-Woods (U.S.) vs. Cabrera-Leishman (Int'l)

DUBLIN, Ohio -- A preview of the Thursday Four-Ball match between the American duo of Matt Kuchar-Tiger Woods vs. the International duo of Angel Cabrera-Marc Leishman. Tee time for this match is 12:41 p.m. ET.

Matt Kuchar
 1-3-1 (1-1-0 Four-Ball)

Angel Cabrera
4-6-3 (1-3-2 Four-Ball)

Tiger Woods
20-14-1 (5-9-0 Four-Ball)

Marc Leishman

United States: Kuchar is Woods' 19th different partner in the 14 combined Presidents Cups and Ryder Cups that Tiger has played. An added bonus? The American duo also features the last two winners of the Memorial Tournament, so they are well-acquainted with the nuances of Muirfield Village. "I get along very well with Tiger," Kuchar said. "Certainly I think if you could pick a partner, picking the No. 1 player in the world is a good partner to have."-- Helen Ross, PGATOUR.COM

International: It's baptism by fire for Leishman, a Captain's pick and a Presidents Cup rookie. Leishman can at least lean on Cabrera, who can be a commanding presence inside the ropes. "If you look at the two Captain's picks, I put them both with experienced veterans, Marc with Angel and Brendon (de Jonge) with Ernie (Els)," International Captain Nick Price said. "Marc is very capable. He and Angel played very well (Tuesday) together and they make a good team."- Brian Wacker, PGATOUR.COM

Helen Ross: U.S. Cabrera comes up big in big events but not this time

Brian Wacker:  U.S. Woods' ball-striking and Kuchar's putting is a potent combo
