FedExCup: Round 2 recap

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- A look at the FedExCup projections and implications following Friday's second round of the BMW Championship:

FINAL 30 MOVES: Nick Watney and Charles Howell III are projected to move inside the top 30. Watney, who is tied for fourth after shooting a 2-under 69, is projected to move from 34 to 23. Howell is tied for 28th and projected to move from 31 to 30. Projected to drop out of the top 30 are Harris English (from 29 to 31) and Lee Westwood (from 30 to 41).

NO. 1: Co-leader Brandt Snedeker would take over the top spot if he wins this week. Snedeker is projected to finish with roughly 500 more points than Tiger Woods. Snedeker is tied for the tournament lead with Jim Furyk at 11 under.

TOP 5: The aforementioned Furyk is projected to move in the top 5 if he wins. His current projection is fourth. Tiger Woods, Henrik Stenson and Adam Scott -- the top three in points coming into the week -- would make up the rest of the top five.

BIGGEST MOVERS: Ryan Moore is projected to move up 32 spots from 65 to 33; he's currently tied for fourth on the leaderboard. But that still leaves him outside the top 30. Zach Johnson, who is solo third, is projected to move from 27th to 12th.
