Boo already knows how to wear plaid

By Mike McAllister, PGATOUR.COM

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Among the spoils that the winner of Sunday's Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial will receive is an official Scottish royal tartan plaid jacket, a practice that tournament champions here first began receiving in 1952.

Boo Weekley, currently atop the leaderboard at 13 under through 11 holes, already knows what it's like to wear a tartan plaid jacket in the winner's circle.

Weekley's only wins on the PGA TOUR have come at the RBC Heritage, which he won in 2007 and again the next year. The winner of that event gets a jacket utilizing a specially designed Heritage Plaid, which is essentially the Royal Stewart tartan with one yellow bar removed from the cloth.
