Play suspended for day at Heritage

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -- With a long line of heavy thunderstorms closing in on Harbour Town and rain and lightning surrounding the area, play was halted for the day at 6:15 p.m. ET.

Players will return to the course at 8 a.m. to resume the second round. There are 17 players who have yet to finish, and some of the could affect the cut line, which is currently at 1 over.

One of those players is Jesper Parnevik, who is on the 18th hole with a 5-footer left for par. If he misses, he would drop to 2 over and move the cut to that number as well.

Other players could affect the cut as well, however, with a birdie.

Three players, meanwhile, will share the lead no matter what.

Kevin Streelman, Charley Hoffman and Steve LeBrun are all in at 6 under, one shot clear of Luke Donald and Bill Haas.
