The final round of the Shell Houston Open has been suspended due to dangerous weather near Humble, Texas.

With strong storms in the area, play was suspended at 4:52 p.m. ET (3:52 Houston time). D.A. Points holds a one-shot lead at 16 under through 14 holes.

This is the seventh weather delay on the PGA TOUR this season. Wind, fog, frost, thunderstorms -- and even snow -- has halted play this season.

As of 5:55 p.m. ET (4:55 Houston time), heavy rain was still falling at Redstone Golf Club.

If play resumes on Sunday, Golf Channel will carry the conclusion of the event.

The PGA TOUR is expected to give an update at 7 p.m. ET.
