Featured Groups: The Honda Classic

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Tee times are out for the first two rounds of The Honda Classic, where defending champion Rory McIlroy is paired with former winners here Ernie Els and Mark Wilson. Here's a closer look at some of the notable groups for the first event of the Florida Swing:

Rory McIlroy-Ernie Els-Mark Wilson: McIlroy won here a year ago to move to No. 1 in the world. This year, he comes in having played just three competitive rounds after having missed the cut in Abu Dhabi and been eliminated in the first round of last week's World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. They'll tee off at 12:25 p.m. ET on Thursday and 7:25 a.m. Friday.

Rickie Fowler-Keegan Bradley-Lee Westwood: What do these three have in common? All are now residents in the area with Westwood having migrated to Palm Beach Gardens in the offseason for the warmer climate. They'll tee off at 12:35 p.m. Thursday and 7:35 a.m. Friday.

Tiger Woods-Martin Kaymer-Dustin Johnson: Woods nearly chased down McIlroy with a final-round 62 here a year ago. He and Kaymer have also won PGA Championships, while Johnson had the trophy nearly in his hands before his infamous penalty at Whistling Straits three years ago. They'll tee off at 7:25 a.m. Thursday and 12:25 p.m. Friday.

Justin Rose-Charl Schwartzel-Russell Henley: All three are off to good starts this season with Rose having finished second in Abu Dhabi, Schwartzel having finished in the top 5 in his last five starts dating back to last year and Henley having won in Hawaii (and knocked off Schwartzel at the WGC-Accenture Match Play). They'll tee off at 7:35 a.m. Thursday and 12:35 p.m. Friday.
