MARANA, Ariz. -- Once the frost clears and snow finally melts, the first round of the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship will resume on Thursday.

Two more inches of snow fell overnight, though, bringing the total to 4 for the day, and the temperaures are still in the 30s. So tournament officials have now delayed the re-start another half hour to 3 p.m. ET (1 p.m. MT) but the practice range and putting green are open.

The latest delay was the sixth in the last four-and-a-half hours.

The high will reach the low 50s on Thursday and the white stuff has begun to disappear. There is another weak system moving through the area Thursday night that could bring a slight chance of rain or a show shower but nothing like Wednesday's unusual snow event.

Morning frost remains in the forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning, though. Friday's high is expected to be 56 while Saturday's increases to 63 and Sunday's drops back into the upper 50s.
