Snedeker doubles, still leads

ATLANTA -- Following the unfortunate lead of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy before him, Brandt Snedeker has just hit his tee shot into the water at the par-3 sixth hole.

Snedeker took his drop and put his third shot within 6 feet but he missed the putt for bogey and settled for double, as had Woods and McIlroy. And Snedeker, who also double bogeyed the hole in the first round, had to make a 4-footer for the 5.

Rose, meanwhile, had put his tee shot into the back bunker. He blasted out to 5 feet and missed that putt so he dropped to 6 under and still trails Snedeker by one. The bogey was the Englishman’s second straight.

Ryan Moore is also 6 under after making a 17-footer on the sixth hole for one of just five birdies there on Sunday. Moore was one of two players to play his way into the top 30 at the BMW Championship.
