Moore closes gap, Sneds in control

ATLANTA -- With a 17-footer for birdie at the 11th hole, Ryan Moore has closed the gap to one shot in his quest to win the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola.

Brandt Snedeker still leads the tournament, though, and he has one shot to give in terms of the all-important FedExCup competition, too.

If Snedeker wins, he's guaranteed the FedExCup. But he can also win it with solo second, as long as Rory McIlroy doesn't get into a three-way tie for fourth -- and there are other scenarios, as well.

McIlroy is currently in a two-way tie for 10th at 1 under with Tiger Woods. The two, who came into the TOUR Championship ranked 1-2, respectively, in the FedExCup, need to make up eight stokes to win the $10 million bonus.
