SEASON IN REVIEW: Snedeker was making the rounds in the media center, thinking he had finished second, when he found out he was in a playoff at the Farmers Insurance Open. Snedeker, who started the day seven strokes back, went on to beat Kyle Stanley and win for the third time in his career -- in just his second start since having hip surgery the previous November. He posted top-10s in each of the first two Playoffs events and earned a Captain's Pick for the Ryder Cup. -- Helen Ross

EAST LAKE HISTORY: This is Snedeker's third start in the TOUR Championship, and he tied for 16th place last season. He tied for 29th in 2007.

ALBERS’ QUICK TAKE: Fred Albers, on-course correspondent for SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio, provides a quick look at Snedeker:
The best putter on the PGA TOUR. I wonder how much gas he has in the tank after an emotional run during the FedExCup Playoffs -- when he also had qualifying for the Ryder Cup on his mind.
