Play resumes under cloudy skies

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A light mist is falling at Sedgefield Country Club but the Wyndham Championship got under way as scheduled at 9 a.m. ET.

Look for the 38 pros who have returned to finish the final round to shoot some low numbers as they take target practice at the damp greens in this heavy air. Play will continued to be contested under lift, clean and place conditions.

Sergio Garcia owns the lead at 15 under and returns to the par-5 fifth hole to hit his third shot. Tim Clark, Jason Dufner and Bud Cauley are one stroke off the pace.

More than 2.2 inches of rain fell in a 14-hour period on Sunday. Sedgefield quickly became unplayable and play was first suspended at 3:10 p.m. and called for the day at 5:30 p.m.

Another tenth of an inch of rain fell overnight.
