Simpson continues to slide

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. -- This is starting to look an awful lot like last year’s final nine holes here for Webb Simpson.

Simpson has now bogeyed each of his last three holes to tumble out of the lead and likely out of contention. He’s now four shots back of leader Troy Kelly, a 33-year-old journeyman who is making just his 34th career start on the PGA TOUR.

Meanwhile, Charlie Wi has moved into contention at 14 under after an eagle on the par-5 17th. Charlie Beljan and Ted Potter Jr. are another shot back.
