Tom Watson unveiled a plaque Tuesday on the 18th fairway of Turnberry’s Ailsa Course to commemorate the 178-yard 7-iron approach to two feet which sealed his victory in 1977 Open Championship. The Senior British Open begins Thursday at Turnberry, where Watson also famously lost a playoff to Stewart Cink in 2009.
