With this victory: Rickie Fowler

Rickie Fowler broke through with his first career victory Sunday at the Wells Fargo Championship. With this victory, Fowler: • Earns 500 FedExCup points and moves to No. 15 in the latest standings with 856 points. • Improves to 1-1 in playoffs (lost to Troy Matteson, 2009 Frys.com Open). • At the age of 23 years, 4 months and 23 days, becomes the third player to make the Wells Fargo Championship his first PGA TOUR win (Anthony Kim/2008, Rory McIlroy/2010). • Is the third-youngest winner of the event, behind McIlroy (20 years, 11 months, 28 days) and Kim (22/10/15). His win comes in his 72 nd start on TOUR and is his 16 th top-10 finish. • Earns fully-exempt status through the 2014 season, including a spot in the 2013 Hyundai Tournament of Champions and Masters Tournament. • Becomes the sixth player (7 wins) in his 20s to win on TOUR in 2012, compared to 11 in their 30s and two in their 40s. • Wins in his third start at the Wells Fargo Championship (T6-2010, T16-2011, 1-2012).
