Pettersson’s accuracy the difference

By Brian Wacker, PGATOUR.COM

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -- Carl Pettersson is still almost two hours away from teeing off, but it’s pretty clear he was able to carry over the momentum from his runner-up in Houston to here at Harbour Town.

The affable Swede has played his last seven rounds under par, playing those 126 holes in 27 under. Here at the RBC Heritage, no one has hit more greens than Pettersson, who is 40-for-54 in greens in regulation. That works pretty well when you’re talking about the smallest greens on the PGA TOUR.

Here’s a look at some other key numbers for Pettersson, who is looking for his first win since another RBC-sponsored event, the 2010 Canadian Open.
