Leaderboard update: Tight at the top

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- There hasn’t been a lot of movement atop the leaderboard so far here in the second round -- all of the names that were up there overnight are still at or near the lead now.

Charlie Wi has moved to the top of the leaderboard by himself a couple of times so far, and that’s where he is now after playing his first nine holes at Pebble Beach in 2 under to get to 11 under for the tournament and one shot ahead of Dustin Johnson and now Kevin Na.

Na has played his first nine holes at Monterey Peninsula in 4 under and has the day’s best score among the leaders so far. Danny Lee, meanwhile is 9 under after playing his first nine holes at Spyglass Hill in even par.

Also at 9 under is Ken Duke, who had the shot of the day from Thursday . Hunter Mahan and Brian Gay are another shot back from that.
