Play resumes

Play has resumed after more than a 90-minute weather delay for lightning in the area. No rain fell, however, so the course should play pretty much the same as it was before play was stopped.

Speaking of play, Erik Compton still has the lead after a 7-under 63, but he has some company from the afternoon wave with Matt Every now just two strokes back after playing his first eight holes in 5 under. Every has three birdies, an eagle an no bogeys so far with the eagle coming on the par-5 12th, where he hit it to inside 15 feet on his second shot. -- Brian Wacker
