For the second time this season, our defending champion Dustin Johnson etched his name into history as the winner of another event. The newest FedEx St. Jude Classic champion captured his 18th PGA TOUR victory in thrilling fashion after holing out from 171 yards on the 72nd hole to secure his six-stroke win. This was his second career victory at TPC Southwind (2012) and moved the two-time winner of THE NORTHERN TRUST back into the top 5 in the FedExCup standings. Johnson now stands at number two, trailing only Justin Thomas, who has held the top spot for the past 16 weeks.
With the second major of the year here, players are vying not only for the U.S. Open title but also an extra boost in the FedExCup rankings. This week's winner will earn 600 FedExCup points, 100 more than the usual 500 points on the line each week. Here's a look at the current top-10.
