How can I find out daily tee times? The daily tee times will be posted on the website as soon as they become available during the week of the Tournament. Alternatively, spectator guides and drawsheets will be distributed from the gates upon entry and at various other locations on course.
How do I keep track of the scores on-course? The days scoring will be displayed by the on-course leaderboard system. The exact locations of these boards can be seen on the Tournament map. You can also see the live scoring on the website if you are unable to make it to the event.
Can I purchase food and drinks on-course? Yes, the event will have a number of food and beverage outlets that everyone will be able to purchase from. You will find them located on the Tournament map, with a condensed offering in The Village.
Can I get a taxi to and from the venue? Yes you can. A taxi rank will be located on North Road (between Guest Road and Golf Road)
What is The Village? The Village will be located adjacent to the Clubhouse and will be the central activity hub for the Event. This area will include premium food and beverage retail outlets, activities for all ages, a super screen to catch all the Event action, a public putting area, and great vantage points to watch the Professionals warm up on the driving range and putting green, before heading out for their competition rounds. There will always be something entertaining happening in The Village and it will certainly be the place to be seen!
Are practice days open to the public? No, gates are not open to the public on practice days for this Tournament.
Can I find out tee times on practice days? There is no access to the public on practice days, nor are there set tee times for players.
Can I come and watch the Pro-Am? Yes! You are welcome to attend the Pro-Am. Purchase a ticket for Wednesday 21 November, or a Weekly ticket (Wednesday 21 – Sunday 25) to attend the event.
Can I play the Pro-Am Tournament? Yes, as long as places aren’t sold out! To find out more information on the package and cost, please click here.
Which professionals play in the Pro-Am Tournament? All competing professional players will play in the Pro-Am Tournament. There will be a morning shotgun at 7:15am and an afternoon shotgun at 12:30. A full draw will be listed on the website here when it becomes available.
Are shuttle buses running from Public Transport Hubs? All trains arriving at Oakleigh Station will be met by a free bus service operating in conjunction with Gate Opening times and returning for one (1) hour after play is completed. Please see the Parking and Transportation page, or PTV website for further information.
Can I buy my ticket at the gate? Yes, unless sold out, tickets will be available for purchase at the gate. Please note that ticket prices increase when sold at the event, so get your tickets now! Click here for information on tickets.
Can I leave and re-enter the course? Yes, you can leave the course and re-enter. You will be required to scan out with your ticket at one of the gates in order to gain entry back into the course.
How can I become a volunteer? Volunteer registrations have closed for the 2018 event. Please sign up to our e-newsletter to be notified for any opportunities at future events.
Can I take my child into the MacKenzie Club? Children 5 and under will be permitted access to the MacKenzie Club, with their ticketed guardian. Should a child 6 years and over require access into MacKenzie Club, they will be required to purchase a ticket at the adult price. There are no children prices for MacKenzie Club
Can I book lunch at the World Cup? No, lunch bookings are not taken at this event. There will however be a number of food and beverage outlets for you to purchase from, with a condensed offering located within The Village. Can I take and use my mobile phone at the event? Spectators are now allowed to take photos all week with their mobile devices throughout the golf course, except in areas of competition during official rounds or when requested by players, security, or TOUR officials to refrain from taking a photo. Receiving or placing phone calls will remain limited to designated “Cell Phone Zones.” As a reminder, cameras are NOT allowed during official rounds. Please click here for the full policy.
What do I do if there is bad weather? Observe the leaderboards throughout the golf course for “Weather Warning” signs that will appear prior to inclement weather moving into the area. When this sign appears, spectators are advised to take precautions PRIOR to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, seek shelter immediately. AVOID THE FOLLOWING: Open areas, bleachers, hilltops, high places, isolated trees, bodies of water, golf carts and metal or wire fences.
Are there prohibited items I can’t bring to the event? In an effort to create the best environment for the competition and our spectators, click here to see the following items will not be allowed onto the grounds. Please avoid any inconvenience by leaving these items at home or in your vehicles. Please be prepared to submit yourself and personal items to inspection.
