Over the past several years, the fashion landscape has been dominated by collaborations between high fashion brands. Not surprisingly, this trend has spilled over to the fairways as many of the most progressive labels in the world of golf fashion have teamed up to prove that two heads are better than one. The most recent example of this is a fun and stylish project between Puma Golf and Malbon Golf.

The two brands launched their Individuals Only Collection at Malbon’s flagship boutique in Los Angeles a few weeks back. The eight piece collaboration fuses vintage Puma style and authentic golf pieces with Malbon’s fresh, streetwear-inspired vibe. The result is a unique collection with individual style that offers a modern edge from the links to the street.


The partnership between Puma and Malbon is a match made in golf fashion heaven. Over the last decade, Puma has challenged the status quo of golf style and established new trends with flat-bill caps, bold graphic designs, joggers and high-tops. Malbon is a hip, new player on the golf apparel scene with a unique design aesthetic. What started as an Instagram account back in 2013 has turned into a full-fledged line of apparel, a chic boutique and numerous partnerships with top-shelf brands.

“Working with Malbon and his team was a natural fit from day one – it was a true collaboration in the sense that we were able to combine a variety of concepts and ideas and let creativity run its course,” said Grant Knudson, head of Footwear & Accessories at Puma Golf. “Good ideas can come from anywhere and this uninhibited, outside-the-box approach resulted in a collection that anyone passionate about style and golf will appreciate – it’s a perfect mix where you can stand out without making a scene.”


Founded by the husband and wife team of Stephen and Erica Malbon, Malbon Golf’s mission is to encourage today’s youth to take up the game of golf by appealing to the casually-dressed crowd and inspiring celebrities and other influencers to grab a club. The brand has quickly gained a strong following amongst creative, stylish and active people due to its unmistakable branding and playful curation.
