Old Man Winter may have a frozen grip on most of the nation, but Puma Golf is warming the sartorial souls of golfers everywhere. Although the calendar still says December, the brand recently released its Spring Summer 2018 Collection with fresh colors, cutting-edge technologies, and dazzling patterns.

Pulling inspiration from the world of urban sportswear, Puma's latest collection fuses off-course trends with high tech performance. Showcasing this design philosophy are the Botanic and PWRCOOL Digital Camo polos. Big, bold floral patterns and digital camo prints have been two of the biggest men's fashion trends over the past few years, and these polos play into those movements.

The Botanic features an eye-catching micro-floral print, which makes a fashionable statement from the first tee to the 19th hole. Puma's dryCELL technology ensures the Botanic Polo works as hard as you do. The Digital Camo Polo proves that this military-inspired pattern is still a strong trend on the fairways. The highly functional fabric on the Digital Camo Polo is designed to keep the body at its optimal temperature thanks to anatomically placed airflow elements.

"Puma Golf's Spring Summer '18 Collection was largely inspired by fashion trends mainly seen outside of the golf category," said Kristin Hinze, Global Head Golf Apparel, Puma Golf. "We have taken ideas such as all-over-prints and made that trend applicable to performance golf apparel, ensuring that consumers have everything they need to look great and play great."

Evoknit was one of Puma's big technical stories for 2017. The SS'18 Collection builds on this with a broader assortment of pieces with two fashionable polos, a new jacket, and a ¼ zip pullover. This seamless knitted fabric utilizes body-mapped ventilation, strategically placed rib panels and seamless engineering for an unrestricted range of motion. Look for the Evoknit polos in vibrant spring colors, including Paradise Pink, Marina, Acid Lime, and Electric Blue Lemonade.

Over the past few years, 6-pocket style pants have been at the core of Puma's range of bottoms and the go-to choice for Rickie Fowler. For 2018, the brand adds a heathered texture to the mix of 6-pocket pants and shorts for a dressier look. In addition to the 6-pocket styles, the popular Pounce shorts return in 10 energetic hues for the season. All new pants and shorts in the collection offer an improved fit, a rebalanced pattern, a curved stretch waistband featuring PWRSTRETCH for comfort, and mechanical stretch for maximum range of motion.

Tying the tops and bottoms together is the new Ultralite Stretch Belt with a molded low profile buckle and an elastic strap for comfort. A branded leather badge and leather bring refined elements to this sporty design.

Another new accessory in the collection is the 'P' cap, which Rickie Fowler sported during his recent victory at the Hero World Challenge. Since arriving on the PGA TOUR, Fowler has been a trendsetter in the headwear game. This new style of cap offers a more modern take on the classic snapback and easily transitions from the course to the street.

"Rickie is certainly recognized for his confidence, style and swagger on and off course. He's been with PUMA since turning professional, and though his preferences have matured over the years, he still is a trendsetter in fashion and style, which means we get to have some fun when designing his footwear and accessories," said Grant Knudson, Head of Footwear & Accessories for Puma Golf. "The 'P' cap we designed with him in mind, reflects that maturity and on-trend style.

Rounding out Puma's SS'18 Collection are two shoes. One of PUMA's best-selling golf shoes, the IGNITE Spikeless Sport, just got a fresh makeover with IGNITE PWRSPORT. The waterproof mesh upper is now enhanced by a PWRFRAME reinforcement and a TPU PWRCAGE for support and balance. Leather accents on the tongue and heel give this athletic shoe a refined vibe. The PWRSPORT is available in four colorways (Quiet Shade/Black; Quarry/White; Black/Silver; Peacoat/Silver and Peacoat/Camo).

Joining the PWRSPORT is the Grip FUSION. Built on the anatomically shaped last with more volume for feet, the Grip FUSION's microfiber upper sits on-top of a new FUSIONFOAM midsole comprised of a mixture of super soft EVA foam and ultra-responsive rubber for all day comfort. The traction system features strategically placed lugs for grip and balance. The Grip FUSION is available in four colorways (Quarry/Acid Lime/Black; Black/Black/White; White/Quiet Shade/Black; White/Black/True Blue).
