Rickie Fowler has established himself as one of the biggest fashion trendsetters in the game. Since the moment he first teed it up on the PGA TOUR in vibrant colors, aggressive patterns and his signature flat-bill hat, people have taken notice. Any change to his  look sends shockwaves through the golf fashion world. Having already stretched the boundaries of golf apparel and footwear this year by rockin’ joggers and high-tops, Rickie is now shaking up the headwear category with Cobra’s new Tour Fade Cap.

Sunday at The Honda Classic, Fowler traded his Puma flat-bill for this new lid that possesses a curved bill and a lower angled crown with a sharp eyelet. The most eye-catching characteristic, though, is the fade pattern, where a color on the back of the hat fades to white on the front panel and the bill. This ombre fade pattern has been a popular design on golf polos and sweaters over the last year, and now Cobra Puma Golf is bringing it to headwear.

The Tour Fade Cap is more than just a flashy look, though. It is loaded with technology and innovation. In fact, the team at Cobra Puma Golf designed it with an emphasis on performance first, and a fashion-forward look second. The stretch back and technical twill fabric are built for comfort and performance, and the Cobra logo on the front uses a cool, new matte-finish HD silicon print.

Look for Fowler to wear the Cobra Tour Fade Cap on weekends throughout 2016 as part of an initiative by the brand to promote Rickie’s use of Cobra clubs.

“Rickie is extremely excited about the new King lineup of drivers and irons, so we wanted to make sure that he's getting some Cobra exposure on the weekends,” said Grant Knudson, head of Footwear & Accessories at Cobra Puma Golf. “He is such a fashion icon that his clothes and shoes speak for themselves. We want to make sure that everyone knows what clubs he's playing, as well.”

The Cobra Tour Fade will hit retail shelves on March 15th in three colors (orange, black and blue), and will be priced at $28.
