Bobby Jones is known as one of the most elegant dressers in the history of golf. His iconic style epitomized early 20th century golf fashion. But what if Mr. Jones were playing today? What would he be wearing if he were competing against the likes of Rory, Rickie and Jordan?

It is difficult to picture Mr. Jones in anything besides plus fours, dress shirts, ties and spectator shoes, but Andy Bell, President/CEO of Jones Global Sports, believes that Jones’ competitive nature would have led him to the XH20 line of apparel in the Bobby Jones Spring 2015 Collection.
“The XH20 line is one of my favorite areas of our Spring 2015 collection because it is what I believe Mr. Jones would wear if he were competing today,” said Bell. “Anyone who has studied golf history knows Mr. Jones, while a gentleman, was a fiery competitor on the course. He would never have ceded anything he believed to be a competitive advantage to the rest of the field, including performance and flexibility in his apparel.”

What makes the Bobby Jones XH20 Performance line unique is its combination of performance and classic good looks. These aspects allow the pieces in the line to effortlessly transition from the fairways to the corner office or even a night on the town.
“We’ve designed our line to answer the call for elegant, sophisticated performance golf apparel that can facilitate the best round of your life on the course – and, importantly, still afford great styling for your dinner engagement that evening,” said Bell.

Mr. Jones’ precise game could only be matched by the precise tailoring of his apparel. For this reason, it is likely Mr. Jones would be wearing the new Tailored Fit polos in the XH20 line from the Bobby Jones brand today.
This new collection was designed for the player seeking a trimmer, more tailored look with less excess material. Complementing the classic elegance and traditional fit of the XH20 line, the new Tailored Fit Collection of polos offers shorter and narrower sleeves along with a more fitted body and a shorter body length. New to the line this season is a stretch tech pant that possesses all the sophistication of the slacks Mr. Jones wore in the 1930s with the added performance aspect of the brand’s XH20 fabric. The modern fit with a slight taper through the lower leg is likely to appeal to a wide range of players, both on and off the course. The XH20 Tech Stretch Pant is available in four traditional colors.

Rounding out the Bobby Jones XH20 Line is a range of performance outerwear that includes jackets, pullovers, vests and hats to help players beat the elements. The XH20 RTJ2 Full Zip Jacket and Vest are two signature pieces in the Bobby Jones Collection that offer the best in style and performance that the brand has to offer. Both feature double-faced Poly/spandex blend fabric with mesh side panels for comfort, breathability and wind-resistance. The jacket is available in four traditional colors, while the vest is available in mix of seven vibrant and classic colors providing players with a plethora of creative and stylish layering options.
