Ben Martin collected his first career win at this week's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open with some top-notch putting. We'll look at that, Tony Finau's ball speed, Daniel Summerhays' long-distance putting and more by going inside the numbers ...

2  Number of players with two top-10 finishes this season in as many events on the PGA TOUR. ... Brooks Koepka was T8 at the Frys.com Open and T4 at Shriners while Hideki Matsuyama was T3 at Frys.com and T10 at Shriners.

5  Number of one-putts from more than 25 feet at Shriners by Daniel Summerhays, which by itself leads the TOUR from that distance this season. ... Summerhays, who finished T54, made putts of 30 feet, 2 inches, 27-9, 27-2, 45-4 and 31-2 in Las Vegas. For comparison, only three players holed more putts from 25 feet or more in a single tournament last season. Brian Gay (McGladrey), Chris Smith (WM Phoenix) and Tim Wilkinson (Honda) all holed six putts of 25 feet or more in a single event in 2013-14.

54 of 54  Ben Martin's putting from inside of 6 feet at Shriners. ... Martin was one of four players, along with Erik Compton, Jonathan Randolph and Sam Saunders, to go perfect from this distance in Las Vegas. Martin also ranked second in Strokes Gained: Putting at 1.64. He also ranked first in putting average at 1.576, needing just 93 putts on 59 greens hit in regulation on the week.

187.49 mph  The highest-measured ball speed this season of big-hitting rookie Tony Finau, which leads the TOUR. ... Ball speed is the peak speed of the golf ball at launch on par 4 and par 5 tee shots where a radar is used and Finau has registered the best mark of the young season. The best mark for all of 2013-14 was 188.95 by Andrew Loupe. The best mark in the past four seasons was 192.21 by Bubba Watson in 2012. It will be interesting to see if the 25-year-old Finau -- known for blasting near-400 yard drives in his younger days, can top Bubba's mark this season. Finau ranks second in driving distance at 321.9 behind Daniel Berger (324.3).
