Retief Goosen continues to impress on the greens.
The two-time major champion, who has experienced his share of injuries in recent years, tied for 21st at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, gaining more than 2 1/2 strokes on the field average each round on the greens. His strokes gained-putting mark of 2.686 was the best of the week, moving Goosen up to 17th on the season in the category.
Goosen already owns a pair of top 10s this season and his putting at Zurich helped him grab his third T25 of the season. He ranks 102nd in FedExCup points.
Noh near top in four stats: Champion Seung-Yul Noh ranked in the top five in four major statistical categories at TPC Louisiana. He was long off the tee, showed a strong short game (14 of 16 in scrambling), and not only hit a ton of greens but put the ball close (fifth in proximity) while doing it.
