Scottie Scheffler's birdie chip shot on No. 9 at The RSM ClassicIn the third round of the 2019 The RSM Classic, Scottie Scheffler holes a 36-foot chip shot for birdie on the par-4 9th hole.
In his final round at the RSM Classic, Scottie Scheffler hit 7 of 14 fairways and 14 of 18 greens in regulation, and had a great back half recovery from a poor front nine. Scheffler finished his day tied for 5th at 15 under; Tyler Duncan and Webb Simpson are tied for 1st at 19 under; Sebastián Muñoz is in 3rd at 18 under; and Brendon Todd is in 4th at 16 under.
After a 286 yard drive on the 429-yard par-4 fourth, Scottie Scheffler chipped his fourth shot to 7 feet, which he rolled for one-putt bogey on the hole. This moved Scottie Scheffler to 1 over for the round.
On the par-4 10th, Scheffler's 130 yard approach to 10 feet set himself up for the birdie on the hole. This moved Scheffler to even-par for the round.
At the 223-yard par-3 12th, Scheffler hit a tee shot 201 yards at the green, setting himself up for the 17-foot putt for birdie. This moved Scheffler to 1 under for the round.
After a drive to the right side of the fairway on the 408-yard par-4 13th hole, Scheffler had a 139 yard approach shot, setting himself up for the birdie. This moved Scheffler to 2 under for the round.
After a 245 yard drive on the 442-yard par-4 14th, Scheffler chipped his third shot to 9 feet, which he rolled for two-putt bogey on the hole. This moved Scheffler to 1 under for the round.
On the 565-yard par-5 15th, Scheffler had a birdie after hitting the green in 2 and two putting. This moved Scheffler to 2 under for the round.
