Doc Redman's hole-out bunker shot for eagle at The RSM ClassicIn the opening round of the 2019 The RSM Classic, Doc Redman holes a 54-foot bunker shot for eagle on the par-5 15th hole.
In his first round at the RSM Classic, Doc Redman hit 12 of 14 fairways and 10 of 18 greens in regulation, and had a great day on the green leaving no misses on putts within 10 feet. Redman finished his day tied for 14th at 4 under; Webb Simpson is in 1st at 7 under; Kyoung-Hoon Lee, Cameron Tringale, and Rhein Gibson are tied for 2nd at 6 under; and Hank Lebioda, Sebastián Muñoz, Nick Taylor, Rory Sabbatini, Alex Cejka, Tyler Duncan, Brian Harman, Scott Brown, and Scott Harrington are tied for 5th at 5 under.
Doc Redman got a bogey on the 415-yard par-4 second, getting on the green in 3 and two putting, moving Doc Redman to 1 over for the round.
On the par-4 fifth, Redman's 90 yard approach to 7 feet set himself up for the birdie on the hole. This moved Redman to even-par for the round.
