Henrik Norlander drains birdie putt at The RSM ClassicIn the opening round of the 2019 The RSM Classic, Henrik Norlander sinks a 43-foot birdie putt on the par-4 10th hole.
Henrik Norlander hit 14 of 18 greens in regulation during his first round at the RSM Classic, finishing at 3 under for the tournament. Norlander finished his day tied for 31st at 3 under; Webb Simpson is in 1st at 7 under; Kyoung-Hoon Lee, Cameron Tringale, and Rhein Gibson are tied for 2nd at 6 under; and Hank Lebioda, Sebastián Muñoz, Nick Taylor, Rory Sabbatini, Alex Cejka, Tyler Duncan, Brian Harman, Scott Brown, and Scott Harrington are tied for 5th at 5 under.
After a drive to the right side of the fairway on the 417-yard par-4 first hole, Norlander had a 171 yard approach shot, setting himself up for the birdie. This moved Norlander to 1 under for the round.
On the par-4 fifth, Norlander's 108 yard approach to 12 feet set himself up for the birdie on the hole. This moved Norlander to 2 under for the round.
After a 279 yard drive on the 582-yard par-5 seventh, Norlander chipped his fourth shot to 8 feet, which he rolled for two-putt bogey on the hole. This moved Norlander to 1 under for the round.
