J.J. Henry shoots 1-over 71 in round one of the RSM Classic

J.J. Henry hit 12 of 18 greens in regulation during his first round at the RSM Classic, finishing at 1 over for the tournament. Henry finished his day tied for 110th at 1 over; Webb Simpson is in 1st at 7 under; Kyoung-Hoon Lee, Cameron Tringale, and Rhein Gibson are tied for 2nd at 6 under; and Hank Lebioda, Sebastián Muñoz, Nick Taylor, Rory Sabbatini, Alex Cejka, Tyler Duncan, Brian Harman, Scott Brown, and Scott Harrington are tied for 5th at 5 under.
At the 418-yard par-4 10th, Henry reached the green in 2 and rolled a 32-foot putt for birdie. This put Henry at 1 under for the round.
On the 565-yard par-5 15th hole, Henry reached the green in 3 and sunk a sub 1-foot putt for birdie. This moved Henry to 2 under for the round.
At the 407-yard par-4 16th, Henry got on in 2 and missed his par putt from 5 feet, finishing with a 3-putt bogey. This moved Henry to 1 under for the round.
After hitting his tee shot into the fairway bunker, Henry hit his next to the left side of the fairway and reached the green on his third shot, rolling a two-putt bogey on the 470-yard par-4 18th. This moved Henry to even for the round.
On the 452-yard par-4 ninth, Henry had a bogey after hitting the green in 3 and two putting, moving Henry to 1 over for the round.
