Aaron Baddeley shoots 3-over 73 in round one of the RSM Classic

In his first round at the RSM Classic, Aaron Baddeley hit 10 of 14 fairways and 11 of 18 greens in regulation, finishing at 3 over for the tournament. Baddeley finished his day tied for 139th at 3 over; Webb Simpson is in 1st at 7 under; Kyoung-Hoon Lee, Cameron Tringale, and Rhein Gibson are tied for 2nd at 6 under; and Hank Lebioda, Sebastián Muñoz, Nick Taylor, Rory Sabbatini, Alex Cejka, Tyler Duncan, Brian Harman, Scott Brown, and Scott Harrington are tied for 5th at 5 under.
On the par-4 10th, Baddeley's 148 yard approach to 2 feet set himself up for the birdie on the hole. This moved Baddeley to 1 under for the round.
After a drive to the right side of the fairway on the 425-yard par-4 11th hole, Baddeley had a 155 yard approach shot, setting himself up for the birdie. This moved Baddeley to 2 under for the round.
Baddeley tee shot went 210 yards to the right intermediate rough and his chip went 29 yards to the green where he had a two-putt for bogey, bringing Baddeley to 1 under for the round.
On his tee stroke on the 470-yard par-4 18th, Baddeley went into the fairway bunker and proceeded to hit his next shot to the left rough leading to his bogey. He hit his fourth onto the green and had a one-putt to finish the hole. This moved Baddeley to 2 over for the round.
After hitting his tee shot into the fairway bunker, Baddeley hit his next to the left rough and reached the green on his third shot, rolling a two-putt bogey on the 417-yard par-4 first. This moved Baddeley to 3 over for the round.
On the 204-yard par-3 third, Baddeley's tee shot went 187 yards to the left intermediate rough and his chip went 23 yards to the green where he rolled a two-putt for bogey. This moved him to 4 over for the round.
At the 179-yard par-3 sixth, Baddeley hit a tee shot 176 yards at the green, setting himself up for the 11-foot putt for birdie. This moved Baddeley to 3 over for the round.
