Stewart Cink shoots 1-under 69 in round one of the RSM Classic

In his first round at the RSM Classic, Stewart Cink hit 9 of 14 fairways and 11 of 18 greens in regulation, finishing at 1 under for the tournament. Cink finished his day tied for 66th at 1 under; Webb Simpson is in 1st at 7 under; Kyoung-Hoon Lee, Cameron Tringale, and Rhein Gibson are tied for 2nd at 6 under; and Hank Lebioda, Sebastián Muñoz, Nick Taylor, Rory Sabbatini, Alex Cejka, Tyler Duncan, Brian Harman, Scott Brown, and Scott Harrington are tied for 5th at 5 under.
On the par-4 10th, Cink's 170 yard approach to 3 feet set himself up for the birdie on the hole. This moved Cink to 1 under for the round.
On the 408-yard par-4 13th hole, Cink reached the green in 2 and sunk a 16-foot putt for birdie. This moved Cink to 2 under for the round.
After a drive to left side of the fairway on the par-5 15th, Cink hit his 225 yard approach to 12 feet, setting himself up for a birdie. This moved Cink to 3 under for the round.
Cink's tee shot went 256 yards to the water, his third shot went 49 yards to the left side of the fairway, and his chip went 7 yards to the green where he had a one-putt for bogey on the 415-yard par-4 second. This moved Cink to 2 under for the round.
On the 204-yard par-3 third, Cink hit the green off the tee but had a three-putt after missing a putt from 7-feet for a par and finished with a bogey. This put Cink at 1 under for the round.
After a drive to the intermediate rough on the 429-yard par-4 fourth hole, Cink had a 147 yard approach shot, setting himself up for the bogey. This moved Cink to even-par for the round.
On the par-4 fifth, Cink's 91 yard approach to 11 feet set himself up for the birdie on the hole. This moved Cink to 1 under for the round.
