Tim Weinhart putts well but delivers a 3-over 73 first round in the RSM Classic

In his first round at the RSM Classic, Tim Weinhart hit 12 of 14 fairways and 12 of 18 greens in regulation, and had a great day on the green leaving no misses on putts within 10 feet. Weinhart finished his day tied for 139th at 3 over; Webb Simpson is in 1st at 7 under; Kyoung-Hoon Lee, Cameron Tringale, and Rhein Gibson are tied for 2nd at 6 under; and Hank Lebioda, Sebastián Muñoz, Nick Taylor, Rory Sabbatini, Alex Cejka, Tyler Duncan, Brian Harman, Scott Brown, and Scott Harrington are tied for 5th at 5 under.
Tim Weinhart got a bogey on the 415-yard par-4 second, getting on the green in 3 and two putting, moving Tim Weinhart to 1 over for the round.
On the 204-yard par-3 third, Weinhart's tee shot went 171 yards to the right rough, his second shot went 53 yards to the left side of the fairway, and his chip went 9 yards to the green where he rolled a one-putt for bogey. This moved him to 2 over for the round.
On the 429-yard par-4 fourth, Weinhart had a bogey after hitting the green in 2 and three putting, moving Weinhart to 3 over for the round.
